alijanjan 3 Report post Posted September 12, 2009 Hi everyone I have just replaced the brake pads on my e38 (rear pads), and had replaced the fornt pads few months ago the check brake linings still stays on there had only been one sensor at front and one for the back when i replaced the pads and i used the old sensors. i was wonering if all four needed to be there in order to work properly or do i need new sensors evrytime the pads are replaced any help is much appreciated Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Idealy you should replace the sensor every pad change, but I'm not sure if it's absolutely necessary to do so.
