Need new Bmw Key for e36

Recommended Posts

Hello

I need a new key for a 95 318ti as I only have one for the car.

Does anyone know if there are any other options rather than buying from Bmw dealership?

Cheers

Yes it does have a chip. so dealer is the only option.

Cheers for help

Yes...it has to be ordered by chassis#....10-15 working days X Germany. You can order a remote key which is $350 +Gst or a standard chipped key which is $170 + Gst

So if I gave you my chassis number you could get a key for me yeah?

Local tosser wants $500 deposit plus more when key arrives.

If your talking about your 323 Motorsport it will have EWS... if you want a key I'll need the chassis # and payment before ordering

Yea talking about the 323i

I have 2 keys so no need for another at the moment, just wanted to know in case I do need a spare key at a later date.

So it's just a chip inside the key?

I was completely unaware of that :)

I just unlock the car with my alarm key fob (don't have any keys with buttons), pop the key in the ignition and away I go lol

Cheers
