M Power 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2009 Actually not 100% sure of the engine model number but can find out, its to match up to a 1985 325i engine for a Group A 3 series replica being built. I understand the gearbox in question has first gear in bottom left position, with 2nd and 3rd being inline (i.e. in the same gate), if that makes any sense? Sounds like it could be a bit different to what is fitted to most of the road cars? I'm not a mechanic but if you (or anyone) think they can help let me know the best way to contact you and I'll pass on your details for someone to give you a call. Cheers if it is a 325i m20 engine the gearbox you asked about is as rare as rocking horse s*&t.but the ones i mentioned will bolt up to a m20 . has a std gearbox layout but has the closer ratio's Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
