buramario 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2009 I've bought E36 318i with A/C which is not working. Previous owner is from Dunedin and he didn't need A/C over there . First what I did is to check that all parts are there. Also A/C belt is OK. But when I press A/C button fan doesn't start to spin or I cannot hear that A/C compressor is kicking in (maybe clutch is gone??). Also I'm not sure if there is any gas in A/C. BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted October 12, 2009 get the gas level checked first , if there is not enough gas in the system it wont turn on the ac compressor. you might have a leaking condensor or evaporator panel , or just low on a/c gas Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
