hmmm.. yeah could be worth a look when I get my holiday leave paid out in a two weeks time;) I've had 540i in both e34 and e39 shape before and liked the e34 handling a bit better (less weight?)

But your right Tony, there are a few that are a couple of k short there Andrew. A hell of a range too, there is a massive difference between an e34 auto and an e46 330 manual

some may say too that that particular E34M5 would be one of the best in the country,and a E34 535 feels sharper to me than a E34 540
