Guest FrantiC Report post Posted October 22, 2009 Almost fixed the wiring mess in my e30, Just need to figure out something with the engine loom now. I have figured out that the green ignition wire from the key goes directly from the key, through the fuse box, straight into pin 7 of the c101. Then from there, on the engine side of the harness, it splits into 2. 1 big green wire and a smaller green wire. The bigger one powers the +12V for the coil. What does the small green one do? I have checked wiring diagrams and it says just +12V coil power, but the other one Must do something somewhere? I have checked relay pins and o2 sensor power but none of those are green or seem to be joined to it.
pureboiracer 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2009 um from memory it powers up your ignition relay, one of the three relays located by the air flow meter, it wont go without it hooked up.
