e30ftw 403 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 Any intrest in a getrag 240 box, has the steel plate type shifter. Shifter nuckle on the rear has been replaced so it's pretty tight. Won't have a shifter though, took me z3 one out sorry, but all the other linkage is there. 5 speed.. suits m20 motors.. Had an oil change about a year ago and a new reverse light switch for it. Goes all sweet, no probs getting into gears, never grinded a gear unless it was my fault lol. i think one of the mounting ears, for the trans mounts, have cracked off but it has enough there to still mount and sit fine. Looking for say $250 for the box. no clutch or associated bits, not a manual conversion.. just the gearbox itself. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
