Grant 4 Report post Posted November 17, 2009 I will probably go to one of their next events and have a looksee, sounds like they have lots of very cool cars, and this was just a sample. One guy was meant to have his Veyron there, but I didn't see it. Cheers Grant
Braeden320 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2009 Is it a car club grant?
Grant 4 Report post Posted November 17, 2009 Is it a car club grant?Yup - here is the blurb off their website (www.eurosunday.net)"EuroSunday Sacramento is the founding city and the heart of EuroSunday. EuroSunday is an event for owners of exotic, rare or vintage cars and bikes to use as a venue to showcase their works of art. But EuroSunday is more than just an event. It is a lifestyle upholding a code of conduct that promotes social networking and camaraderie. Everyone that attends our events is encouraged to talk to fellow participants to learn more about the history and ownership of particular vehicles or marques. Business owners in the automotive and motorcycle markets as well as general markets also have a venue to network with owners in a no-pressure low-key environment. EuroSunday expands beyond its own events by promoting local car and motorcycle club events as well as informal events hosted by individuals. In addition to events, EuroSunday organizes indoor and outdoor professional photo shoots, social and spirited drives, in addition to social outings to wineries and dinner events. Each EuroSunday city has its own unique format that holds true to the EuroSunday lifestyle of integrity and camaraderie but with a local feel to it. The heart of EuroSunday is the free once-a-month informal event open to all European car and motorcycle owners and clubs. The main focus of all events and activities is to give the owners of exotic, rare, or vintage cars and motorcycles a venue to showcase their works of art as well as network with fellow car and motorcycle enthusiasts." Apex 693 Report post Posted November 17, 2009 Thanks Grant, some cool car. I like the race track so that Challenge Stradale would do me just fine thanks, fastest of the lot round a track.
Grant 4 Report post Posted November 18, 2009 Thanks Grant, some cool car. I like the race track so that Challenge Stradale would do me just fine thanks, fastest of the lot round a track. We actually debated this while there (there were three of us in the debate). I concluded that the fastest cars on a track would be as follows: 1) Porsche Carerra GT 2) Noble 3) Challenge Stradale The other two did not know what a Noble was, so had to believe me. Interesting though, I wonder if Top Gear has had these three recorded going around their track in the hands of the Stig(s)? I will look it up. Grant 4 Report post Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) Here are the results (using the Top Gear lap times) 1) Aerial Atom 1:19.5 (to be fair I didn't really take a photo of this, but it is in the edge of one of my photos) 2) Porsche Carerra GT 1:19.8 3) Ferrari 360 CS 1:22.3 4) Noble M400 1:25.0 Very interesting, the Noble was a lot slower than I thought. Apex 693 Report post Posted November 18, 2009 Haha, I know but the Ferrari is still fastest in my mind, they are so so cool. The Porsche Careera GT is cool, the sound they make alone dwarfs even a Ferrari, maybe it’s that colour that has me thinking red instead.
