Reassembling m20 help needed.

So Im putting my M20 back together finally. And it has been atleast a month since I took everything off it, and I forgot to put the thermostat housing on before the inlet manifold.

Now when I try put it (the thermostat housing) on it fouls on the fuel rail.

What is the quickest way around this?

Really dont want to take the inlet manifold back off, and all the associated parts.

Take the fuel rail off?

Or take the sensor off that is hitting the fuel rail.

I went through that soooooo many times, always would forget which goes on first and stuff.

There's a few 10mm bolts holding the rail to the intake manifold. Undo those, then lift the rail upwards and the injectors will pop out of the intake manifold. Should give you enough clearance then.

Thanks I managed to pull the rail up giving it enough clearence.
