twisted 45 Report post Posted December 21, 2009 Hi all, My car has an intermittant engine vibration when idling. Initially i thought it may have been a leaky injector flooding one cylinder, but i'm not so sure now. Symptoms: Vibrates first time the car is started when cold - Continues vibrating until revs pass 4k, then the vibration will dissapear completely regardless of revs. Its quite a vivid vibration, possibly only running on 7. Sometimes it starts to vibrate after sitting at the lights/in traffic - same as above to clear vibration. I've noticed recently that it seems to occur when the fuel level is below 1/4 tank - this makes me wonder if it could be my fuel pump or maybe fuel pressure regulator? Fuel Filter is about 3k old.
