APT 188 Report post Posted December 24, 2009 Have readaround but cant seem to find out why it is reving this high Car is: M40 318i Everytime i start the engine it seems to idle hunting between 2000 and 2300 revs once i unplug the ICV it jumps down to 900 which i find acceptable. Have tried two ICV 's now and same problem happens on both, have also cleaned both now. Also checked all hoses vacuum hoses. Are Both ICV's broken ? or is there anything else that can cause this ?
