Hey everyone

Just been to Invercargill for my Nana's 70th.

Anyway, while we were down there we met up with my girlfriends cousin.

He has a car crusher...

I would have thought they'd take the wheels/tyres off first.

Not worth the effort on most, the engine is still in them. Seats. Windows. You can see it all in the cube, quite funny to look at, its all relatively still in place.

where do i get one?

The crusher, its one of 3 'cubers' in the country. 1.5mil new, that one would be about 600k being 10 years old.

I want to get a car all steam cleaned then cubed, would make an awesome coffee table, except a cubed car still weighs the same as a car lol.

They arn't, most are ones he picks up off people properties that have gone to sh*t. Couple from the impound yard that havent been picked up I think.

But...Under new laws, your car could get put through it. Boy racer or Nana racer. Think you'd have to be a serious re-offender tho.

Sorry, title should be " why you shouldn't street race"

From December anyone caught street racing three times in four years will have their vehicle crushed.

How long does it take to crush a car....start to finish? I had better slow down, already lost my licence in my 740 once! oh and so have two of my other friends, same friggin car...I might as well have "pig bait" across the back windscreen,
