deeveus 81 Report post Posted February 12, 2010 Good luck with the sale. What year 530d? Pictures? How are you finding the economy for such a huge car? Is it the 160kw 500nm with 6 speed?

deeveus 81 Report post Posted February 12, 2010 HUGE? a five isnt huge! Sorry should rephrase that, but an E60 isn't exactly a Honda Civic. I owned one and it's just as wide/long as my X5's
Moose 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2010 Sorry should rephrase that, but an E60 isn't exactly a Honda Civic. I owned one and it's just as wide/long as my X5's I'll get some photos up soon, it's an e39 factory motorsport, great economy, I travel 800km a week and it's running at 7.4 l/100km, compared to the X5, which is still good for a bigger car at 9.2. deeveus 81 Report post Posted February 18, 2010 I'm getting about 10.2 at the moment. We live 300m above sealevel here and getting to our house is quite steep, so it requires a bit more jandall getting up here. For it's size I just can't understand how well the X5 performs. It got it serviced yesterday and the chap there said that if I get it chipped it will have the same performance as the twin turbo ones (210kw & 580nm) The upgrade has proven very reliable & this is a BMW service agent that supply's & fits it, he also said it improves economy & won't void it's warranty.
