What is the Resale Value of this ...

Brother in law is considering selling his e39 530i Touring and asked me what they should sell for on TMe or similar. He did a search and there was not many Tourings out there so doesn't know where to pitch the price at.

A few details ...

• Jap import - he is 1st NZ owner
• 71,000km
• Silver outside with black interior and woodgrain dash
• 530i SE Highline with tiptronic
• Fully optioned with all the fruit incl TV etc
• I think it has a front skirt on it
• Pampered and serviced with no issues at all

Looking for some range pricing from those who follow pricing please

There is a few on there just search TM BMW wagons up to $25k 97 onwards.

I would say $18-$20k value on that car, good K's, It is the 530i so it's a facelift.

I bought my wagon for $25K. Motorsport with 116K kms in Sept 09. All the extra options as well.

There are tourings out there but not many in M-sport and hardly any V8 wagons.

I've been offered by a local Hamilton dealer sourcing a wagon for a client to sell mine for $23K.

I would say you are looking at minimum $21K, hopefully more with those kms. Some prefer M-sport and will pay more. I did
