madaz 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2010 Hi Guys, I have a question about the trans in my partners 318ti. When the car is cold the gearbox doesnt change gear till alot later than when its warm. When cold itll change at about 4k and warm prob around 2.5-3k. Hot or Cold it still changes smooth, no lurching or anything. Just wondering if its meant to be doing this? Im looking at getting the trans flushed and serviced at the next service anyway but if this is gonna cause damage to the box itll get it done asap. cheers Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
