Towing capacity on 540i

I know what you're saying but there are still plenty of older cars that dont. And the other arguement is that the the road toll is still quite high, and hasn't dropped significantly enough where they would even consider raising the speed limit.

Population has increased also to con-incide with the same road-toll, also there's alot more cars on the road today than there was say 20 years ago, cars are much more accessible & cheaper.

There's few cars now that aren't capable of withstanding a 110kph + speed limit, take Australia for example, they do have better roads however, but I still think in certain areas speed limits could safely be raised to atleast 110kph. A great example of this is the Canterbury plains, virtually hours of straight roads & 100kph or 90kph with a trailer...
