E60 /E63 Car Mats... fit an E30?

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know if car mats made for the E60/E63 will fit the E30? An auction on Trademe for a full set - drivers mat looks similar to E30 drivers mat. But would anybody know for sure?

Seller said, if not, cut to fit then have them resewn - which is a good idea.

Ahh another gem of a thread...

Have you ever looked inside a E60/63? Pretty sure the E30 interior design and layout is a distant memory now

No, not perfectly. If you're bothered by things that 'kind of' fit then don't buy them.

Hah, just saw the auction and at the current bid they're really cheap.

Repco or Supercheap?Nothing wrong with mats from there, There just mats

E63 mats won't make your E30 cooler or faster.

A better place for this question if there is one, should have been quick questions

To add a point of helpfulness to this thread, I just buy your generic rubber ones from ripco/superheap, then cut a slot near the top right corner of the drivers one with a stanley knife, undo the accel pedal clip then slide the mat over the pedal and then reclip the pedal down. If you cut it in the right place it looks tidy and atleast the mat doesn't slide everywhere now that it has its own locking mechanism.

I would have thought the back seats would be way further back ie more leg room. But srsly...just get e30 ones?
