kiwipetrolhead 1 Report post Posted March 4, 2010 As stated in title need a fan belt pretty quickly Cheers in advance for any help Jamie Some things you only buy new, like: Engine Oil Spark Plugs Air and Oil filters Cambelts and of course, fan belts. There is a small independant 'cambelt' shop in Palmerston North I use a lot who also sell fan belts and a few other things - well-known, good quality brands at low cost. They always seem to have everything you ever need in stock too. Perhaps there is a store like this in your town, look it up the phone book. A fan belt from these guys would be way under $50. Even most cambelts cost less than $50. A cambelt for my e21 cost about $30, for example. Good luck Paul
misgvous_1 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2010 Hi again its getting a bit confusing as the car isn't in my possession. One of the belts has snapped but the person looking after the car isn't sure which belt it is. They have given me these numbers that he could off it 19092008B BMW 11.23 -1717062-692637 AVX10 x 1010L... Does anyone know which belt this is from? It is not the alternator belt as that has just been replaced. Thanks again for all the previous help. Jamie
