Does anybody know what this may be.

When i got the car i first thought it was the rain sensor but then i noticed that its not listed on my build sheet so i am at a bit of a loss as to what it might be, It does not have a part number on it to try and track it down. It appears to be just stuck to the screen.

Headlight sensor possibly? ive seen one thats older than this on a bmw, but cant confirm what this is. does it have anything on the front?

I your car is a jap import, it could be the antenna for the Japanese electronic toll collector system

It could also be a GPS antenna for an add on GPS system

It could be a light sensor for automatic headlights.

but my bet is the toll collector...

Wow a toll collector i would never have thought of that, Might see if i can open it up and see if i can get some info off of whats inside.

Has it got a part # on it? Dont pull it appart before you identify what it is first. Just in case. I also think its toll sensor.

No nothing on the outside the shows a part number or anything, Don't think its anything special i can use anyway so might just leave it be i think.

no the radio is hooked up to the amplifier one in the left rear c pillar.
