The E39 540i is my second BMW. First love was a '95 e36 coupe. Unfortunately it was viciously raped by a vindictive little boundary fence 130 metres after a particularly nasty corner. (pic attached...The tree on the floor is what went through the battery)

Some of you may be feasting from its remains at a wreckers in Palmerston North. *sad weepy look*

But on a happy note, I picked up the E39 for peanuts,(160km) and thanks to the knowledge and helpfulness in this forum, I will have the pixels and the E39 shimmy fixed next week.

You guys RULE!
