tire 10 Report post Posted March 26, 2010 In the process of replacing my sump gasket I noticed part of this long thin spring poking out of the back of the crank (see green circle). I gave it a gentle pull, as you do, and it came out. WTF is it? Car is a 325i touring automatic, with a SA m20b25 motor. Thanks.. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
