allan 295 Report post Posted March 28, 2010 Came from an add for a 320d your thoughts? Driving enjoyment in beats per minute A car's speed is generally expressed in terms of how many miles or kilometers it can cover per hour. Yet these measurements say little about how a car feels on the road. They cannot convey the joy brought by the sound of an engine responding instantly to the throttle, the pleasure of looking out over a long sweeping bonnet, nor can they express the satisfaction of seeing the country side flash rapidly by, or the feeling of abandoning one's self to the open road. For when it comes to measuring driving pleasure the only true guide is the beat of your heart. Allan
pjay 8 Report post Posted March 28, 2010 Driving pleasure to me is as simple as a smile planted on my face whenever I take a corner or accelerate or even just sit at the lights and see people oogling at me. I drove for the first time in ages today, and I'm still buzzing off it.
