martyyyn 102 Report post Posted March 29, 2010 Mine spat the dummy yesterday and seized whilst doing 100 on the motorway. Is it likely to be the only thing needing replacement, other than the belt obviously, or is there any more damage it couldve done ? I only drove about 30m after it went bang so Im hoping not. Judging by realoem the part number is 11510393338 and I think they are standard on 316 and 318 e36's and e46's, e34 518's and the odd z3. I was planning on fixing this tomorrow so if someone can get it to me for the morning that would be much appreciated.

Forrest 35 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 (edited) ^^ Wikipedia is subjective, take everything you read on there with a grain of salt, it isn't FACT. Obviously M42's are cam chain's though. Edited March 31, 2010 by Hellpina
