E30V8 Brake Bleeding Issues

Hello All

I am having some huge issues bleeding the brakes on Rileys E30 V8

The rear brakes seem to get plenty of fluid through them, but no fluid through the fronts

The master Cylinder was Rebuit and the whole system has been very much dry and full of air

I have attempted the normal bleeding method to no sucess.

What am I not doing correctly here ?

as per title it is fitted with Golf Booster / Terrano Master Cylinder

have you checked for any blockages either in the resivior or the lines? providing it was rebuilt properly this would seem to me to be the only thing that could cause it.

Take this with a grain of salt but here goes... On my race car when my Dad and I were trying to bleed the brakes the pump hold release way there was nothing happening. I went to supercheap and go a pressure bleeder with the one way valve and tried it and it took 5 minutes after that. I have no idea why it didnt work the previous time.

This sounds worth a Shot, I guess i do this often enough that it would be a usefull tool to own.

You could try pulling the front brake lines off the caliper and see how much fluid comes out then when slowly applying the brakes, i had this problem once where a little bit of something got stuck in front of the bleed nipple, more pressure on the pedal resolved it, not recommended though.

I Purchased a Air Compressor Vacume Bleeder,

Tried this first on my 4WD in which i was really impressed and then on the E30V8 where it seems to have worked a charm.

Must have Been a huge air buble that I could not pump through or something.

Paul just got one to do his clutch. see if you can borrow his.

But don't buy it unless you have an air compressor.
