It's looking bloody interesting this year featuring the Aston Marton Rapide, new Peugeot RCZ Diesel Coupe and a CNG-powered VW Scirocco TSI 2.0 amongst others.

The new Manthey Racing GT3 will take it out again, they have it down packed!

NZ needs better coverage of this event..

Attn SKY, can we have a motorsport channel to replace the Rugby Chanel?

Thanks

The Peugeot team isn't really a serious team, it's made up of non-professional drivers.

That's true of many of the teams though I think. Are you making excuses for them in advance Heath??? ;)

They've certainly rolled out a serious new car though - even if it is a Pug-badged diesel TT!

The CEO of Aston Martin is driving in his team. CEO of Toyota may drive the LFA again too.

Ulrich Bez can actually drive though.

Manthey don't f**k around. Their fastest lap was some 19 hours into the race, and a car prepared for one of their customers came 3rd. They wedged the Ford GT which was on pole, after the Audi R8's crashed out.

"Each team is composed of four "gentleman drivers", enlightened motor racing enthusiasts, experienced drivers and fans of the Marque, including Jean-Philippe Peugeot, Vice-president of the PSA Group's Supervisory Board, Stéphane Caillet, ground link technician, Cyrus Ayari, sales executive, and Olivier Perez, Peugeot marketing executive."
