compatible parts from E34 used on a E28

Hey there guys i need some information leading to the compatible parts out of or from a BMW E34 to go into a E28?

I would like to know if i can use a set of rear shocks out of a E34 for my E28???

yup . but will need the e28 top hat fitted to the e34 shocks
