520d to M5 just the wheels

My ride is a 2006 BMW 520d.

I want to replace the wheels to standard M5 wheels, but I have no knowledge about this.. so Can yu please help!!

All I know is that it is 5 stud...

Not sure if it has the same offset/ballpark or whatever..(just got these terms off reading the net)

Is there anything I need to do (lyk, camber etc?)

Or do I just get the M5 wheels and chuck them in.

Any help would be really appreciated!!!!! Cheeaoz

Hey mate! Sounds like a nice car, the E60s are awesome!

Umm, theres not really much you have to do. Just chuck on some M5 wheels in the correct offsets relating to widths and centerbore and you'll be sweet.

The best way to do what you want is to head into a Mag and Tyre Direct (Forum Sponsors) and Jonno will be able to sort you out! I'm guessing you'd want aftermarket rims as they're probably about 1/8th the cost of the real deal and do the same job. Rather than try and explain everything I think thats the best idea. Jonnos a pro and he'll do you a great deal

By the way, how much would be a M5 original 19inch if any one knows??

I was quoted $6000 for the set of 4, inc. tyres and fitting. Might have been 18inch quotation.... can't remember

Where are you located? If in Auckland you could pop in and see us, we can do 19's for around half of what you have been quoted so far.
