Lucan 196 Report post Posted May 25, 2010 Thinking about getting into making a Cold Air Box and can't decide whether to keep or remove the CC? CC's not working, and I've never looked into why. Are there any common faults or reasons for it to stop working??? Options are: Look into fixing the CC (see above) and build the shield around. Completely remove CC assembly from the engine bay to make it easier for the cold air box DIY Any info/links/experience on either CC or CAB would be sweet. Had a wee search but couldn't find much around whe it comes to the CC being in the way

Top Secret 2 Report post Posted May 26, 2010 I think the cruise control may not work if you car has been converted to manual. I was reading up about this, as I also have cruise control, and I want to get it working when the car is manual for those long trips. I hear you need to separate the two green/black wires by the reverse light switch (under the centre console) via a switch to tell the car it's in drive, but that's as far as my research has gone.
