biscuit_feet 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2010 Hi all. I recently replaced the factory tail lights on my car. I even transferred the foam separator off the rear of the old lights to the new ones. there is an issue with condensation/water getting into both tail lights, and the moisture is also now affecting the CD Changer. anyone that has done this, have you got any sure fire ways to keep out the condensation? Mark 178 Report post Posted May 29, 2010 Aftermarket taillights generally aren't the same quality as OEM items. Perhaps some silicon sealant around the seams of the lights would help? Also, I found when I installed aftermarket lights on my E36 that they didn't sit quite flush and some adjustments had to be made. Take a look and see if there are any glaring irregularities in the fitment.
