taraiti 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2010 Hi there guys i am wondering if you are able to get a set of adjustable coil over suspension for a 1987 E28 BMW? if so is this true to the marque, as i saw a 1988 M535i race car on trade me stating that it had coil over springs cheers
Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted June 7, 2010 Your car has coil overs from factory, just not adjustable. My 535 E28 race car has adjustable coil overs from George Stocks, height, camber, and damper adjustment. For a road car I doubt you'd need any of these, maybe just a good set of aftermarket springs and shocks?
BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted June 7, 2010 (edited) as silverfox said , if just for road use or the odd track day lowered stiffer spriongs and good bilsteins or koni's etc will do . i have had my bilsteins tightend up with kings springs for e34 at front and h&r at the back , stifer sway bars from white-line handles pretty good and flat now , a little bouncy for the road but ok.
