Are you sure it's the central lock motor ? Who diagnosed the fault for you ?

I ripped out the actuator and applied voltage to the rear pins, I can make it lock by moving the lever off the 'door is locked' microswitch but I can't make it unlock again.

The motor works in both directions with voltage directly applied.

With a multimeter we could see the +12 and -12v charge when the doors are locked / unlocked.

Sound right?
