Syxx 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2010 So I was sitting there staring at my car the other day and I decided I think there may be some better mags out there for my car. Not sure what I'm after but I do'nt like stupid chromey biscuit rims. Can some photoshop legends slap some decent looking rims on my car for some ideas please? They need to be reasonably large to fill the guards aswell as I really think I need bigger mags than the 18s that are on there just leave a bit to much room. Cheers. cliffdunedin 8 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 What size are the rims and tyres you have on it now? the tyre profile looks too low and they don't seem to fill the guards out much.
joshnz 2 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 Do'nt want bigger tyres. It's not an ark lol. I only suggested higher profile tyres because you can barely see them now anyway .. just remember if you get bigger wheels/tyres keep in mind the new WOF regulations
JiB 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 Looks like your tyre profile belongs on a 19" not an 18" 19's, you better be slammed or you'll look like a rollerskate! (tbh, looks too big anyway)
Syxx 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 Currently runs 18x8's. Whats the new WOF regs?
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 You should be running 225/40/18 tyres on those wheels
Syxx 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 You should be running 225/40/18 tyres on those wheels They're 215/35/R18
greenday-rulz21 6 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 You can get away with 215's but the 35 profile is too low. Thats why they look small in your guards.
antil33t 90 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 (edited) I have 225/40/18 on my spermwhale, the tyre profile isn't too much bigger than what you have now. Definately invest in new tyres imo. cheaper than rims Edited June 20, 2010 by antil33t
[email protected] 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 You should get some plastic looking chrome wheels made in China to match those drink bottle recycled plastic headlights. Would have a good theme going then.
