frkshow 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2010 hae guys just bought a e30 320i coupe auto and today it died on me. turn the key to the ON position and only the battery light on the dash lights ups and nothing else. not even the check light. i checked all the fuses and none of them are blown. when you try start it the car wont crank or turn over. antil33t 90 Report post Posted June 22, 2010 (edited) +1 to 1rotty. Does it make a "click" when you turn the key? as if the solenoid was engaging. Did you check the earth strap on the passenger side of the engine, it's attached to the sump near the oil level sensor.
