tire 10 Report post Posted August 4, 2010 Hey sorry to be such a noob but does any one have a link to the wireing diagram and or could show me one week end where it is, sorry dont have much time to sit on the internet and research any more and cbf spending money on my pc to get it working my e30s more worthy of the money HAHAHAHAHA, but really ive got every thing else sused just lost on wht the inhibitor switch looks like on bmw(all i have owned its stock manual 525i with m50s) any help would be great on this sorry for being so noob thanks Gareth Where in Auckland are you Gareth? I am very interested in the M20B27 with the good head, that seems to be the best value for money/easiest of any bmw conversion. hell yah they are a really fun motor specaily when in a e21 like my mate JASPA from the bmw shop off ashfield street. that thing is nices for what it is, i have all way wanted one but yeah i just dont have the know how to mix and match engine parts like that( well not realy i did it with a rd30e and re25de head what a head ache) but yeah i will be doing a 2.7 shortly but i got a v8 project that is at a stand still now because my 4 door e30 325i now has a manaul gear box and i should shorlty be installin some heavy duty belsteins for it so here some updates IT IS MANUAL (well no it has the box in now i need drive shaft and pedal box with master if any ones got some lieing around ) Heavy duty Bilstiens(not installed yet) and when i get payed i will be geting a sage 2 or 3 clutch Not alot has happened but hopefully it will be running by wednesday so i can get to work hahahaha but seriousl any one with pedal box and drive shaft please let me know Edited August 8, 2010 by nutterbutter Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I have driveshafts for africa in my shed which you can try out and have for cheap, aswell as a pedal box! I can probably bring them to you this weekend if you like? YIP YOUR RIGHT HAHAHAHA i was just abit ahead of my self wanted to check it fitted hahaha but anyway took it out and put the auto back in,I just "F"ed around this week end due to waiting on pay day to get some more parts lol MAX- I will PM you shortly about this man thanks so much i have been told its just a standard e30 Getrag 260, and my cars a 4 door (photos up soon) so yeah not to sure on dif but its stock and pretty sure its open to Yeah this week end was a waste of time hahahaha but thats all good i had fun, are lightened flywheels worth it for a m20b25(any one know where to get a fly wheel lighterned) or just a stock?and completely forgot i would need one to lol so if any one has a manual flywheel thats cheap please let me know thanks for all the interest Gareth Edited August 11, 2010 by nutterbutter Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
pureboiracer 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2010 Lightened flywheels definatly worth it, get it machined down to 6kg, thats about as light as you can go before it turns into a grenade. any clutch specialist should be able to do this, or a brake specialist, get them to balance it with your new clutch while your at it. F*&^ING HELL $200 for a fly wheel lol oh well i might just buy The.Tams 320i. lol MAKE IT AUTO YAY lol well something like that, but yeah if i buy the fly wheel get it lightened and the rest it will be just about the same with gear box so yeah ill post up here if i get the 320i and is it easy to make the 320i a auto with the 325i transmission ? if not ill have heaps of parts(waste of a car thought) Thanks Gareth Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
