Jacko 2156 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 Wondering if a clutch kit for a m20b25 will fit in my m20b23's flywheel, or if they are a different diameter? Im swapping out the engine for a M52B28, and am using the b23's flywheel and gearbox (Getrag 260) and there is a lot of HD clutch kits ive found for 325's. CamB 48 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 (edited) I can't answer this definitively, but I'd suggest you be careful as the last 323i's flywheel I saw was a single mass flywheel and the 325is are dual mass I think (edit - ok, so I am not so sure, so this post is not at all helpful), so its possible/likely that at least the pressure plates are different. Gruelius 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2010 in regards to E30 the clutch kit from the m20b23 or m20b25 can be interchanged they are both single mass flywheels the b23 is lighter!!! ive heard from everywhere that most m20b25's had dual mass flywheels only early ones had single mass. But if it fits, it fits.
