M5V8 337 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 (edited) OEM wheels/parts are well worth holding onto if you don’t need a quick buck. I know....but most of these parts are clogging up my garage. I'm not going to use them again. But I wont be giving the wheels away....someone will have to make a good offer for those. antil33t 90 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 (edited) What is an M-Mobility Kit? E. Oh, Tyre repair kit, weird name lol. Edited August 17, 2010 by antil33t
M5V8 337 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 What is an M-Mobility Kit?this is a system that allows M cars not have to carry a spare (because they wont fit in the boot). It's a combo unit that will fill the tyre with a substance to seal any punture and a air pressure system that will re-inflate the tyre. It's designed to get you home. http://www.bmw-m.net/Reviews/m_mobility.htm
M5V8 337 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 it seems there is a few people interested in the same parts. So I'll run this like an auction. Highest bidder wins. PM me your bids on which parts.
Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Would suggest you chuck them on trademe if you want an auction.
Grant 4 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Would suggest you chuck them on trademe if you want an auction. I agree. The rules of the for sale section are pretty clear, and call for a price.
M5V8 337 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 well I've had three ppl tell me they will take the shift knob, how do I make that fair? I'd rather these parts goto bimmersport members...... but hey if you'd all prefer I will start an trademe auction, then you can bid against randoms. I thought the point of this section was to give you fella's first dibs?
Guest Simon* Report post Posted August 17, 2010 First in first served would be fairest I reckon. Who sent you the first PM requesting each bit? Send them back the price and if they accept, then done deal. If they don't, move to number 2, etc. We DO NOT condone "auctions" here. Strictly speaking all your bits should have had a price listed to avoid this very scenario.
Apex 693 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Tempted to buy those wheels and store them. Such a cool wheel. Price if they are not gone?
M5V8 337 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Tempted to buy those wheels and store them. Such a cool wheel. Price if they are not gone? I'm asking for offers around $4k since they have $2k's worth of Goodyear tyres on them with less than 800km on them.
Apex 693 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 I have half a lolly jar full of salted peanuts and a lot of stationary. Will keep on looking for 4k.

I have no idea what these items are worth, but would obviously prefer they went to worthy homes - ie: members on this forum considering the advice and support I have received from this site. I will reply to any PM's in order they are received.
