VW Polo - needs new fuel pump

Hi once again,

My mate has just been quoted $850 +GST to replace the fuel pump in her 1997 VW Polo.

Do you think this is a realistic price??

I have no idea!

I supplied the new fuel pump to the workshop for the owner. It was $450.51 including Gst ... not $850 + Gst

Basically it worked out at $600 instead of the original $1000.
