How gutted would you be if you had sold that Bel Air thinking it was going to a good home only for it to end up a crash test dummy??

Bit surprising considering there is probably a significant weight difference as well.

Yeah, I'm not sure how happy I'd be donating a 58 Bel Air to science ha.

Not sure how much weight difference there would be, considering how heavy new cars tend to be?

As for the engine, why would it not?!?
