Retrofit an third 3-point belt in an e34 or e38

Anyone know if this is possible ?

e38's had a third 3-point seat belt as a cheap optional extra but no-one took them up on it. Jeff Gray laughed at me when I tried them a while back to see if they could order the kit for me.

What Im thinking of is putting a third belt in the back of an e34 touring but dont know if its possible.

Sorry i cant help with the belt, but it may also be worth checking with a certifier as you may need to get it certified as you are not using the factory mounting points. (This is just a maybe but would be worth looking into.)
