bimmer boy 21 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 (edited) I have got a 2.5 year old toddler I gotta look after for the next few days which he is still in a car seat etc. What I am wanting to know is if I can turn off the passenger airbag in either my E39 or E46? Figure its better than keeping him in the back so I can keep a better eye on him.. Cheers fellas Edited October 24, 2010 by RJS
hotwire 352 Report post Posted October 24, 2010 No you can't, they simply sense off the sensor in the passenger seat as to ocupation. Keep him in the back seat
RustyItalian 11 Report post Posted October 27, 2010 I have my baby seat in the centre rear away from side airbags. I find you can keep a reasonable eye on them. There is always the boot. BMW trimmed it nicely for a reason...
