Nice shots ... I think the harsh angles they are shot at distract from the actual subject?

Looking good. Except the third shot where no part of the shot is in focus. I like the clever lighting setup behind the chain link to pattern the shadow on the car. Cool.

Dude, you've got some good skills, but there's quite a bit of over-exposure in those recent shots (and/or white balance is off). I know you've got a new flash and wanted to try it out, but you'd do well to still think about the final product and what you're trying to achieve. I hope you take my comments as constructive - definitely better than what I could do. I'm just pointing out what I think is obvious.
