South African e30 1990 325i

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm seriously considering buying this car when mine sells, so I'm just wondering if anyone on here owns it or anyone has seen it? Seems like its in a very nice, tidy condition with low k's.

Anything to watch out for on the South African models? And are they any better then regular e30's?

Thanks for any help,

Kaz

As far as I am aware it hasn't been. There was one about an e30 1990 se, but that is a different car.

My appologies if it has.

Haha I was actually thinking that, but then it would pretty much look the same as your car did :P Edited by Kaz

Hi Kaz, I have been watching your auction. I am surprised noone has snapped up your 328 yet.

Did you have some other questions about the car?

Chris

Chris

Yeah its taking a while, I have someone coming down from up north next weekend to hopefully buy it and have had a couple of terrible offers via text.

I can't think of anything else at the moment. Thanks for the picture of the boot, I was unsure how much space the long range tanks take up but doesn't seem to be too much.

Hopefully I can come view it next weekend if it all goes well? I have your number saved so I can let you know closer to the date.

Thanks,

Kaz

The tanks are under the car-they dont intrude on the bootspace at all

The SAs are algd-generally a little higher specd & have sumpguards lol

The key to e30 ownership is to start with a good one then work from there if you're planning mods(arent we all) and this looks to be a very nice low k example.

The SA cars also have a long range tank in the boot, against the back seats, about 150mm of boot is lost.
