george graves 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2010 Just in time for the holidays. They made a killer present for yourself, or one of your buddies that helps you wrench. I only have a limited number of these - I make them mostly for friends and gear heads here in the states. delay times nonadjustable - they come preset to match the factory e90 specs. It works just like newer BMW's, when you close your driver's door, it keeps the the lights on, and then slowly fades out over a period of about 30-45 seconds just like the new BMW's. It has an added feature that when you turn the key, it dims down the light quicker, so that you can start driving with out glare. Anyone that had driven a newer BMW knows this feature. It adds a really cool lighting effect, and is very useful at times. Like when you need to read a map real quick. - Plugs right in and replaces the stock relay - Quality construction - Installation only requires a Phillips head screw driver and a 8mm socket. - Free USPS International shipping shipping Here is a look inside the case. $55 USD Paypal - [email protected] (USPS Priority International and FedEx shipping w/ insurance available on request) - remove the drivers side bottom dash cover to gain access to the hood release cable bolts (8mm) and remove the bolts. - Remove the speaker panel and the speaker. - Remove the two screws that is just below the speaker opening and reach into the speaker cavity and pull the bracket out - Remove relay, and plug in the new dimmer mod. - button it back up and you are done. Lucan 196 Report post Posted November 19, 2010 Is that installation for Left or Right Hand drive?
george graves 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2010 (edited) Is that installation for Left or Right Hand drive? Both - except right hand drive models don't need to remove the hood cable IIRC. Right hand drive e30's hood cables on the left hand side, correct? Anyways - the realy it replaces is on the driver's side on all e30 weather it's right or left hand drive.
