cainchapman 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2005 There is a Fern Green M3 at Coombes Johnson in Tauranga that is in very good condition. All the options, only thing not on it is the rear spoiler and it was delivered like that.
Macca 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2005 Hi Guys, What a fantastic bunch. Nice to get replys so quickly. Thanks for all the leads. I had looked at TM and identified the cars there but none were quite right. I ahd also done an autopoint check and a bmw.co.nz check too but Im not prepared to buy through a main dealer at the prices they are asking. The ex Singapore blue car on TM is close to what I want - the only thing would be the mileage and history - I really would rather buy a car that has been in NZ for some time and has some local attention and history, otherwise I will arrange one from Japan without history and make some savings... Yes the 968 is a Porsche. My car is Grand Prix white and totally original/mint with 76k km (its my daily driver since I bought it last year). Im a Porsche nutter but recently had a 3.0 E36 M3 for a weekend and really enjoyed the driving experience and especially the practicality. Ill probably keep the 968 if I get an M3 as they are very hard to find (only made 12000 and 1100 in RHD, coiupe 6spd congif). Please keep the ideas flowing. If you know someone through the board who may have an M3 and wish to part then Im interested... Thanks again guys Macca
Macca 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2005 PS. Forgot to mention - dont want SMG (I know the original owner of the Clayons blue car mentioned above and all he had was trouble with that box!)

Macca 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2005 Thanks mate. I recall having seen an ad for that on the internet somewhere just recently. Ill look for it again. Odd someone should paint the wheels white I thought...if its $50k then its probably more than I want to spend... Cheers
