Best place to scap a catalytic converter?

Anyone know who pays well for catalytic converters in Christchurch?

I just rung round a few and they're all trying to rip people off ($15-$45 per cat).

They're full of precious metals that are worth a lot and I've got two big'uns from a 540i.

The Catman in Auckland took mine for $90 each, that was the middle of last year though.

He said $60 per smaller Japanese cat, and $90 for larger Euro ones.

Sorry that doesn't help you being in Christchurch though.

Just visited dominion steel recycling and showed them the two cats out of my 540.

They gave me $190 for both which I thought was decent.
