E36 ECU SCAN

Recommended Posts

My car has an airbag error on the dash.

I understand the component that is causing the error, will show up on a scan, is this correct?

I presume after the Scan and replacement of the component it will then require a reset, to remove the light from the dash?

your excactly right.

what part is faulty?

have you changed it and now need someone to reset it.

i know you can reset your service light on the dash with out plugging in a diagnostics machine but air bag i think you need a work shop.

ill check my facts in a book a have but im pretty sure you need a visit to a work shop.

Alot of workshops can do this for you as its very common software "OBD2 from memory" where abouts are you located i could recomend a place if you like.
