BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted December 18, 2010 (edited) for sale a 4L M60B40 V8 engine with the heads removed . requires 2 new head gasgets and some new big end bearings . and away you go , good for parts or a project . engine was running fine except it has a sleight tapping noise (sounded like a tappet noise) but turned out to be big end bearings on one of the conrods which was causing the piston to just tap the head sleightly. heads where removed for inspection only , they turned out to be fine . $500ono for the engine and most of the bits that go around it . these are rated at 286Hp 210Kw 400Nm just clearing out my shed heads alone would be worth about $700-800 each call 021433600 Edited December 18, 2010 by Brent HARTGE535i Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
