Pre Purchase in Auckland

Hi all, I'm looking at buying a bmw but would like to get it inspected first. Does anyone know of any BMW or euro shops that are slightly west-ish where I could get the car inspected? The car's in Avondale and I don't want to get them to drive overly far (or have to go too far myself I if need to) so it can be checked.

Places I've found so far are:

- Euroworks in Henderson,

- BM Workshop in Grey Lynn,

- European Cars Services and Parts LTD in New Lynn

I'm going to give them a call tomorrow morning. Anyone had any experience with any of the above or any others they'd recommend roughly in that area?

I got mine done at Jerry Clayton BMW on the shore. $150 and found them to be pretty good.

Of the three you mentioned, I would go for BM Workshop.

They have a good reputation and are BMW specialists, rather than all things Euro

Hello, cheers for the replies. I was leaning towards BM Workshop but I ended up going with the first in the list, Euroworks as they seemed like they knew what they were on about and what to look for when I talked to them on the phone. It was also the closest place to the car so the yard was ok with dropping it off there.

Would recommend those guys as well, they spent 1 1/2 hours with the car and about 20 minutes on the phone with me after! Very friendly and honest.

It's a 2002 320. We need something that's more suitable than what we have now (baby on the way).
