E36 STW Touring Car

Some in-car footage from an E36 Supertourer in the Historic Touring Car Class at Ruapuna last weekend.

The Diet Coke Group A M3 in this video is a Wellington Street Race winner in 1989.

Some quite good footage of the other touring cars in this series (check out the pace of the RS500 down the straight!).

It certainly is a fantastic class that is developing with some mighty fine machinery, most of which are Group A or Supertouring BMW's, but also quite an array of group A cars including ATCC RS500 Sierra, Walkinshaw XJS Jag, Commodore, ETCC Rover, BTCC Carina etc.
