bemmaboi 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2005 (edited) Shortened Shocks from a 1986 bmw e30. I have had them on my car for aprox. 1 month max. I put in Jamex Springs which gave my car an 50mm drop and needed these shocks for w.o.f etc. I have now given my car an extra 70mm drop and need even shorter shocks which I have now bought. These come in the boxes etc which they came in. Would prefer to sell on here, then trademe as we are MOSTLY bmw owners here and it would save time. ********2 REAR SHOCKS ONLY******** $100ono. Thanks **does also fit a nissan sunny if there are any Sunny owners out there** Edited May 4, 2005 by bemmaboi

Back ones will be the same though. Cheers

Jonty m50e30 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2005 (edited) You Need them for a warrant as with super low springs on rear particularly, they are no longer captive and your springs could fall out (very unlikley) If Gus does'nt take them I will if they are indeed 45mm, also bemmaboi howd you go about dropping your car 120mm? adjustable coilovers?, super low kings barely moved my car, if i end up lucky enough to get these i will have a set of kybs standard length for sale almost brand new also, currently on with super lows on race car shell.and spring barely captive on rear when jacked up. cheers Edited April 26, 2005 by Grant
bemmaboi 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2005 also bemmaboi howd you go about dropping your car 120mm? adjustable coilovers?, super low kings barely moved my car Sorry been away with out a computer.. I have lowered my car 120mm by compressing the Jamex Springs. I looked into all the different ways in which my car could look and handle better, on a budget. I would like to have coil cover’s but I just don’t have that much money to spend. I wasn’t going to cut my springs, and therefore compressing the springs were the best option. I’ve heard all the bad stories with it handling worst etc, but to tell you the truth my car handles better then it ever has! Maybe because of the low center of grav etc and all that, but im happy at the end of the day. Back to the shocks. They are still for sale, will find out how much to post nation wide etc. Will put on trademe with pics etc if they don’t sell on here by Monday. Thanks

m325i 709 Report post Posted April 30, 2005 will these fit a 325i?
Grant 4 Report post Posted April 30, 2005 will these fit a 325i? Probably not. You will more than likely have the bigger front struts (51mm) ones.320i front struts are 45mm in diameter. The rear ones will fit. Cheers Grant
